Call for personnel selection to work on technical/scientific activities of ESA projects.
NITEL consortium is looking for a collaborator to work on ESA projects mainly concerning the use of satellite systems in 5G. The required skill and the characteristics of the collaboration are described in the following table.
Required degree:
Master degree in Telecommunication/Computer Science Engineering (“laurea specialistica” 5-years university study) or equivalent (mandatory)
Professional skills:
Software development knowledge of virtualized platforms (i.e., VMWare, Docker, cloud services), NVF and SDN Basic on networking Linux Operating System
Personal skills:
Capability to work in a team but also to self-organize assigned tasks.
The object of the contract:
Study and implementation of Virtualized Network Functions (VNFs) Support in designing, developing, configure and deploy testbed environments to reproduce real telecommunication networks. To write technical reports in English and to participate in meetings with international partners via teleconference or in-person traveling in Europe.
